Program Date - 23 Jan 2016
We express not to tell stories, but tell stories to express ourselves!
There is myriad of emotions pent up inside children, waiting to be expressed. For children who love to express in the form of words, we bring a day long creative writing workshop ‘The Story of Emoticons’ where children will get to observe, recognise, accept and express their emotions in words. They will then weave their words into stories and poems! In a nutshell, learn the art of self expression!
Note for parents: This workshop is not only for children who aspire to be writers, but also for every child who desires and deserves to express him/herself!
Profile of the Facilitator: Manmeet Narang is a behavioural trainer with Parwarish Institute and Youreka. Her entire work with children, parents and teachers revolves around making people think, reflect and discover themselves. Her other passion is to dig into the imaginative world of children and weave stories for them. Her published work includes ‘The Amazing World of Animals’, ‘Magical World of Benny Buzo’ and ‘Jiggly Wiggly’ rhymes.
When she is not training or writing, she is either reading, listening to music, walking in nature, exploring places or playing with her children.
