Ranjini Kalakendra - a Centre for Performing Arts (Music, Dance & Theatre),
is an organization dedicated towards preservation, promotion and development of Indian Performing arts formed in the year 2000. The Centre is engaged in training more than 1000 students in Indian performing arts, organizing community outreach activities in the form of music and dance festivals, conducting workshops, Seminars, conferences, exhibitions, Aradhana Mahotsavas and into other women & social welfare activities.
The Centre to its credits have organized successful events in the past –viz., Jhenkar Utsav, Prayog, Parampara Nrityotsav, Kalantarag, Veenotsava, Madhura Yana Manjula Gana, Sahasra Veena Jhenkar – a world record making event, Live Bangalore and many more. The Centre offers various short-term programs for all Music and Dance enthusiasts through workshops, seminars leading to Certifications. In addition, students from all age groups are trained at the Centre to take up Junior, Senior & Proficiency exams in Music & Dance from the Board of Secondary Education, Karnataka.
