MILAN, a stage for dreams to be built.
Milan acts as a platform for passionate children to develop and work towards their personal goals. The Centre for Social Action is proud to present to you an opportunity for empowering young minds to follow their dreams and transform them into reality.
Throughout the academic year, activities involving sports and cultural events are held for the urban project areas.
However, it is only in the month of December, every alternate year that we witness the coming together of children of the nine project areas of CSA to rendezvous, compete, and rejoice in the spirit of geniality, in the form of a two-day carnival. This carnival is called MILAN.
MILAN was conceived in 2011 as a platform to bring together children from our diverse project areas. In 2013, the carnival saw the participation of over 600 children. MILAN ‘15 is expected to be larger than ever before with the CSA involving 970 individuals.
Day 1 will see the children partake in competitions and activities intended to hone their skills. The events include theme and non-theme based dance, music events, stage and art.
Day 2 will witness a mix of sporting events for these enthusiastic kids like obstacle races and Kabaddi matches.
And, we expect you to be part of their joy. Will you be there?
