Hridayam is four day residential Yoga & art Retreat, set in serene and safe environment on outskirts of Bangalore.

Activities For children
Morning and evening Yoga classes, special sessions on breathing, short meditation, positive thinking with stories and chanting.
Art sessions making clay models of Yoga asanas, mandala meditative art, collage work, Yoga murals, paper craft and more.
Karma Yoga sessions to clean our environment in theme of Swachh Bharat.
Play time and games to let loose and just be.
Option for Parents to join in
Parents who join the retreat, will have a special morning and evening Yoga class. All art, games and activities sessions for children are open for parents too. Explore the lush green venue, enjoy your quiet time in the nature and explore the library and book store at The School of Ancient Wisdom.
Venue & Boarding
School of Ancient Wisdom is located in Devanahalli, in the hills and with loads of greenery. An ideal place to soak in the nature and immerse in Yoga!
Rooms are set in cottage style. On sharing basis, there will be 3-4 children per room. Children travelling with parent/s will share the room with parents.
All vegetarian, healthy meals will be provided. Milk/tea with snacks will be provided.
Consumption of non vegetarian food, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs is prohibited on the campus.
Please organize your own transport. If you would like to car pool with other participants, we would love to help you. Do let us know.
About the Staff
Namita Sinha is Yoga faculty for Hridayam. She is Founder of Yogi Kids, mother of 12 year old and a child at heart. Her formal Yoga training is in Himalayan Yoga and Sivananda Yoga from Rishikesh. She has over 1200 hours of experience teaching to children at schools, private classes, retreats and camps. She is a student of Yoga for life.
K.Venkatesh is an artist and sculptor from Chandana Art Foundation International. Winner of many awards, Venkatesh is passionate about teaching art to children. He will be leading all art sessions.
